Prodigal Summer

This is her fifth novel. With her biology background she paints in great detail nature in the mountains and farms of southern Appalachia. Barbara weaves three stories of human love into a beautifully written tribute to human nature and nature itself. I love nature, so seeing this region through her storytelling was awesome, not to mention the lighthearted romantic thread woven throughout the book. Pick it up and enjoy~I did.

I haven't been to this site yet, so I am not sure where I will leave it inside the Information center. I'm going to look for their gift shop and perhaps place the book in a great spot among other books or on the checkout counter.
