A true children's classic that will never go out of style. I love this story. It will remain part of my permanent collection until my daughter reads it. I had originally picked it up for her.

Taken from Casseytara's bookbox for Nikki. Thanks so much.
Moving this to my granddaughter's own bookshelf: Nikki-Vet. She's so excited to be part of bookcrossing. Thanks for sharing.
I kind of liked this book even though I don't usually read children's classics.
From the back: This book was about an orphan named Heidi who likes to run in the meadows and in the wild with her friend, Peter. She also likes to run with the goats. She is a lovely surprise for her lonely grandfather who lives in the Alps and for her new friend, Klara who is ill and unhappy.
At the end, Heidi turns everyone's life around. What else do you think happened?
