This book contributed by an unknown Panera customer--I, as a volunteer, have registered it and released it "into the wild" at Panera Bread, Arvada, Colorado, November 12, 2013.

Found this book at Panera and could not resist although I am currently in the middle of three other books. I am usually leery of authors using others' established characters but this was very well done and Holmes seemed himself throughout. Mary was entirely believable as someone Sherlock Holmes would take on, (maybe a bit of a Mary Sue but not enough that it interfered with my enjoyment of the character) and seeing Holmes, that great misogynist, having to face an intellect equal to his own in the form of a teenage girl was fun.
This is my first encounter with bookcrossing. I love the idea of it and will try to release some books of my own soon, although it is painful to contemplate giving up my favorites. I've passed this book on to my mother now, who promises to release it when she is done. Thanks for releasing this one jsulcer, I really liked it!

Fresh new take on Sherlock Holmes. New to this concept of passing books around but I like it. Got the book from my daughter and will give it back to her to leave it somewhere else.
