It's a new month... time for some new bug fixes!
While Matt is still working on harnessing the book data that we all have contributed to, and making it available for searches, he's also been rather busy fixing other things, and even adding some nifty little features. Read all about it in this Announcements forum post. The Shipping News

Loved it - Also loved Heart Songs, Postcards, and At Close Range. Did not like Accordion Crimes. If you haven't read it, steal this book! Clever devices for each chapter, beautifully written, great characters and description, and a musical style that leaves you beaming at the end. Find it! Go, be free, and may someone else derive half of the pleasure it brought to me.

Liked it a lot. Haven't decided where to release it yet. Recommending it to my spouse first.
Quirkily written, yet thoroughly engrossing, this book quietly draws the reader into the main character's bewildered interior world. Involves romance, but not a "chick" book; involves seamy relationships and drab surroundings that disguise a careful, intriguing storyline. It's refreshingly unpredictable without resorting to convolution. The first Proulx novel I've read.
