I love Truman Capote! I first read this book in High School while staying a once grand but on the skids holel in Detriot. There'd been a murder there the week before. My sis and I were in town for a week of Opera (the Met was on tour) and baseball (this was the year the Tigers won the Series). It was a pretty chilling read at the time and still is.

Loved it. So much more than a true crime book, it really gives a clear sense of time, place and character. very thankful to have found it!
