It's a new month... time for some new bug fixes!
While Matt is still working on harnessing the book data that we all have contributed to, and making it available for searches, he's also been rather busy fixing other things, and even adding some nifty little features. Read all about it in this Announcements forum post.

Book given to me by my sister Hayley and Graeme. I've read this before:

Really loved this book! Took me a little while to get used to the time and age changes but once I did I was sucked in. It had me in tears by the end as I predicted. So excited for the film now!

Only thing I didn't like was that everyone knew Gomez was in love with Claire and yet Henry and Gomez's wife only mentioned it once yet had no problems still being friends and Charisse doesn't hold it against Claire. This seemed far more unbelievable than the time travelling!

This book is unlike anything else I've ever read. It's quite an original and interesting concept. I found the book a little slow to get into. The pace did pick up, suspension built and I just knew tragedy was going to hit, just wasn't sure how. I did enjoy the authors ideas of time travel. However, come the end of the book I had a few little niggles, of things that went unanswered, like what was causing Henry's health problems at the end? The science experiments to help henry anda possible Alba were kind of left hanging. I drew my own conclusions regarding Ingrid (did Alba's visits make her realise that Henry would never be hers and cause her suicide?). I think Henry visiting only Alba in the future was so he could get to know/help her. I guess that was their time together, similar to what he'd already had with Clare. Oh and just remembered that in the book somewhere mentioned that there were more people like Henry. Who were they? I probably sound ungrateful for this reading experience, not at all. It was a great love story, so differnt from any other!

Thank you so much Shahrun! :)

This book has been on my wishlist for a while now - because I've heard good things about it and what I heard about the story intrigued me. I'm a fast reader with chicklit or most fantasy, but I think this book, with its slower pace will take me quite a bit longer. But I'm still very much looking forward to reading it!

“This is a beautiful story”, my cousin said enthousiastically as she handed me the book when I just finished requesting information at the train station’s information desk. Nice coincidence that the swap-book shelf was in the same room. Had expected the book to have crossed the ocean, because an Oregon postcard was inside... but crossing the Channel is nice enough!
