Fun read. This is one of the books that if I see a clean copy I will grab for release. Here is my review from an earlier release:
What more can you ask for? A horse and a jockey with a second chance and a wonderfully detailed racing world of the great depression. One of the few really good books that made a really good movie also.

I found this at the Subway in Clearwater while coming home from Job's Daughters camp in Brianerd. For sure going to be passing it on.
