This book is being released as part of the East Valley Tribune's BookCrossing.com project and a story for the Sunday Arts section. It was suggested by arts writer (and reporter writing the story) Michelle Burgess, who names this as her favorite book. "I love cultural books and movies, and this one is one of the best. I found it on a shelf at my parents' ranch last summer and read it straight through; it was hard to put down when bedtime came. It paints a vivid picture of a certain place, time and cast of characters, and weaves just enough sensuality and mysticism throughout to make it interesting."
Release planned for Tuesday, May 28, 2002 at De la Cruz Mexican restaurant in gold canyon, Arizona USA.
Reading this book will make you hungry, so you'll be happy you're already at a restaurant when you find it. De la Cruz makes great mole chicken, a dish that fits in well with the recipes in the book.
