I really enjoy the series "Life on Mars" on the telly and though it gets an aknowledgement on the cover I'm not sure if Sharon wrote them both. There is certainly a similarity in the storyline and that added to my enjoyment of this book.

Do not be put off by the title! The merest whiff of sci fi, aliens or the like is no where to be found! Just the feel good factor of easy read classic chic lit with an uplifting conclusion. Gripping from start to finish. Sharon explores timeless issues with comeraderie and love at its heart
