Quill and his Siamese 'babies' are light easy reading, and light easy listening :) I enjoyed this while driving to and from, around Salt Lake.

I didn't warm to the reader of this one and kept losing concentration. I love the kitty auction ;-)

Sending on to the winner of the audio sweepstake...I hope you enjoy!
Thanks for sending this!
This is a cozy mystery - maybe too cozy for me? While talking about the cats and the little town this book lost me completely pretty quickly. What was exactly the crime committed and who did do it? Was this really the end?? It didn't clarify anything to me.
Travels as RABCK to gunmarga in Sweden. Hope you enjoy this!
Thank You weiterferne. The title made me interested so I think it will be exciting to hear this book.
Backside: The residents of Pickax eagerly await the start of Pickax Now, a festival celebrating the 150th anniversary of the town's founding. In the midst of preparations for parades and performances, newspaper columnist James Qwilleran must have time to entertain Harvey Ledfield, an aspiring architect visiting from out of town.
Owill welcomes Harvey into his home to sketch, but strange occurences seem to follow Harvey around. Why, for example, did the extraordinary Siamese Koko leap from the balcony onto Harley's head while he was drawing Qwill's barn? And why have Harley's aunt and uncle - residents of nearby Purple Point - not been seen in public since Harvey's arrivel?
Soon, Koko's strange behavior is not the only sign of trouble in Pickax. A knitter with psychic powers predics murder, and a woman makes a weekend trip to Pickax from California to leave a message for Qwill. It's up to Koko to help Qwill piece the clues together.

An incredible story where the Siamese cat Koko is one of the main characters.
It feels like the novel is written for those who like cats and who know that a cat can be quite wise. But perhaps not as wise as this cat Koko. The book is relaxing and it made me smile when the well-known expression to resolve troubles were to drink a cup of tea. It felt a bit like the "Emmerdale".
