This is an unusual tale of the journey made by Reverend Geoffrey Wilson who set out in 1857 for Tasmania as he believed that he would find the true site of the Garden of Eden. His fellow travellers and their respective fates makes for fascinating and, in some cases, amusing reading.This book won the 2000 Whitbread Book of the Year competition
I am adding this to the book I'm sending to Fire-dragon as I wanted to find a book to make up the weight in the parcel! I hope Fire-dragon likes it or knows someone else who will.

I am back in Australia for a holiday and this book was handed back to me with a pile of others. I don't have time to read it while I'm here or room for it in my bag so I have released it in the wild.
