OK, So I knew looking would mean trouble, but... I had to! One of my neighbours left a massive stack of rather interesting looking books (and other stuff) on the street with a sign saying 'Free Help Yourself'. And I went and looked, and took!

Time for a Mid-Week Mix up in Dagenham Little Free Library. This is going in to try and temp a new reader...

If you have picked up a book from here, You may have noticed there is a little hand written note/sticker inside with a unique number and direction to the BookCrossing website. In a nutshell, BookCrossing allows you the reader to become a part of the Books story. You can track the recorded movements of the book and add an opinion on the story. It’s free and you can do it anonymously. But if you join, you will get notified when the next reader journals it. You wouldn’t believe how far some books go!

I left three books in the Little Free Library, and took two home with me. This is not how to reduce the number of books in my house! Trouble is, I can't resist an intriguing cover :-)

I skimmed this one, but it isn't really the book for me. Maybe a non-vegetarian would find it more entertaining. I shall leave this in one of our local little free libraries and maybe it will find a more appreciative audience.
