Really enjoyed Daphne Du Maurier's style of writing as well as the story. She really gets 'inside' the character.
Good story. Parts of it were a bit over-descriptive but overall an addictive read.

It was good to re-read this beautifully crafted book. The tension that the second Mrs de Winter feels throughout the book keeps your interest alive. I loved the descriptive passages, as I felt they enhanced ones sense of being there. It was of a bygone age but the sentiments are still true today.
