I read this because it was part of Oprah's Book Club. I liked it all right.

This book has been on my TBR list for quite some time.... Thanks for sending it! To be honest, I forgot that I had even requested it, so what a great surprise, to find it in my mailbox today! I have accumulated a few others to be read, but I will get to it! A friend saw it in my car earlier, and was so excited that I was going to be reading it! She insisted that I stop Jitterbug Perfume, and begin this book!

I don't understand Oprah, I guess. This was a good story, well written, (although confusing at times, which tense are we in?) I did feel that this was fairly predictable, the ending wasn't exactly a complete surprise.

But it was a good reminder that we should not judge... Amanda...

I'm glad I read it, but will probably be a book that I forget soon.

Passed this book along to my mom, I think she'll really enjoy the read.

My daughter gave me this book to read. A good book overall and shows how past "secrets" effect the present and future of many lives. However, I found it to be slow moving and difficult to tell when the author was giving details about the past or the present.
