Edit January 18, 2022: This was good, but I just skimmed it for time on this re-read. I recall it being a bit corny, in the way of old horror movies, compared to the more ominous modern terror and contemporary realism of the vampire series. I currently have this ranked at #3261 on my ranked list of best-read books lately.
I can let this go after I read:
