Arrived home in a surprise book box from the library book sale (back in October) -- another book I was not originally intrigued by, however as each chapter is a month, I thought it could be fun to read a chapter a month, and finish the book by the end of the year -- although I am close to a month behind - I will endeavor to get the January chapter read in the next couple of days, and continue with this book for the year.
Not sure HOW to feel about this book. Poor Tita. She loves and loses in so many ways. I liked the interspersing of the recipes and the home remedies - but the story itself was pretty melancholy.
