Anne of the Island
4 journalers for this copy...
It's now in my hands :) I loved the first so much that I surely wish to read the following books. Besides me there are a few other BCers from Lisbon who've recently read and really enjoyed Anne of Green Gables, so we are all anxious to read more about Anne. Xana was kind enough to let us have a small bookring here in Lisbon with her Anne books :) Thanks! :) (this is book 3, I hope :))
No, unfortunately I haven't read this book yet, but as I was given a copy of this book by my *great* friends ;) I'm passing this on to someone else tomorrow. However, I'll update this entry after I read my book (which won't take long, I hope ;)) so that I can add my oppinion on the book.
<24.Aug.2004> Such a lovely book, and so romantic (especially all the marrigae proposals that Anne gets!! ;)). Anne goes to study at college, where she meets new friends and lives new adventures :)

My favourite Anne book so far :-)
She's finally grown up, and her years in college are as adventurous as ever.... my favourite new character was definitely Phil - Anne's new friend - but it was great to see how everyone else's life carried on.
Oh, and I just couldn't wait to see if Anne and Gilbert stayed together, so the last pages were really exciting :-)
Will be passing this to someone (possibly fflloorr ...) as soon as possible.

E mais um directinho para a minha pilha TBR.
