Very well written. I wasn't even interested in reading this until my friend insisted that I give the first chapter a go. Quindlen writes with such strength, wisdom and humor--certainly not what I expected from what I initially thought was a "battered wife/survivor/victim" book. Goes to show you that you truly can't judge a book by its cover.
