A review of the latest book sent me off to amazon only to find that this is a series where the reader is at a disadvantage if they have no knowledge of the lead character's background. So back to 1995 it is.
The book sets out the circumstances of the lead's upbringing, explaining some of her character traits.
A christie ish style mystery but equally fascinating is the technology explained.
Clues are obtained by hacking into a database pre internet by using a person's phone line and yet when a doctor is required someone is sent to the telephone box.
Good enough to have the next one on order in a retro sort of way. It will be interesting to read the technology evolving alongside each storyline.
