I really enjoyed The Sparrow which was a wonderful combination of science fiction and spirituality, with vivid storytelling and characters to empathise with. I tried to ignore the religiosity as much as possible; however, I can't bring myself to read any more about this Church and its God, no matter how well written, so I'm going to let this sequel go unread. I hope it will find an appreciative home.
