My friend at work is getting a kindle and wanted to get rid of all her familys books. She thought of me :)

This book continues with the story of Macro and Cato, the invasion of Britian has begun! Lots of battles, the relationship between the two men is still great. I love the scenes with these to. Was hoping for some more political plots, now that Flavia is staying in Britian maybe we will see more of that in the next book. I was really hoping that Vitellius would get his due but he's come out as the hero again! I don't know anything about Roman history so I have no idea if Claudius was historically accurate or not but my what a twat. I don't think there is any other way I can put that. Overall I didn't like this any better than the first book but I didn't like it any less either and am happy to carry on with the series.
