This is pretty awesome. Spirit is chosen at birth to be a protector, but she doesnt discover so until the death of her parents at 14. She is then whisked away to a private school in the middle of nowhere. This is where Spirit learns of her destiny and discovers there is more to herself than just an orphaned teenager nobody wants.

Its a lot like Harry Potter books, but there isn't wizards..its darker than that.
