I bought this book while working in London in the summer of 2000. It's a great book for anyone in the IT industry, but I think it was a little overhyped, possibly because there is so little writing that captures this slice of american culture at all. If you start reading this book you will almost certainly finish it, especially if you were born between 1960 and 1983.
