A birthday present from MrPloppy.

This cute little book is a companion volume to Thud!. The story is just lovely, and the illustrations perfect (even if Sam Vimes does strangely remsemble Pete Poslethwaite). Even the physical qualities of the book are just right - the cloth binding on the spine gives it the feel of a nice old-fashioned children's book. One of those books that just makes you smile.

Obviously, it's going in my absolutely permanent, to be released over my dead body, collection.
