A sweet true story about a cat rescued off the streets that wins the heart of its (formerly dog-loving) rescuer. The author is a journalist who runs an animal charity, so he treats his new friend as a research opportunity, and the book is interspersed with facts about cats - everything from their history to their diet.

Picked up at this months dinner at the Thai Orchid. I am a cat lover - the cat who has most of my affection is grumpy she can't sit on my lap while I type. Need to start reading so she can curl up. :-)

A enjoyable yarn about a writers first live in cat. Very humorous, will take along to this months meet up.

The cats and the authour care about other animals. Interesting bit about "The Sea Shepherd" and Paul Watson.
