Virgin and Martyr is about a troubled young woman raised by uninvolved parents - one of whom has a fixation on miracles and the Catholic Charismatic movement. The book spans from Pre-Vatican II to 1976.

The story is very fast-paced and is told by three different narrators, as well as in epistolory form. We are giving an insiders look at the changes Vatican II had on our country as well as our Religious. It also provides a view into the militant missionaries throughout the third world.
