Picked this up in the OCZ in the Trattorie because I thought my four year old son might enjoy it. Funny, I am always buying children's books to bookcross but then when it comes down to it if my boy is enjoying it I haven't got the heart to take it from him. My boy has quite a lot of books by now...
My son knows what he likes and he likes Giants. He had a little trouble with the idea that I picked up a book called Giants and then I read him a story about a troll. He enjoyed the story and then asked for the book so he could browse the pictures - always a sure sign of a winner.
Still one of my son's favourites. The only downside is that his favourite story of all is the "spot the differences" picture which is hardly a great story from my perspective. At least we know what the twenty differences are now. I find it quite an interesting blend of myth and reality.
