Tender Is the Night
2 journalers for this copy...

Got this book from the USA, via Bookmooch. It came quite shabby, so I had to repair it a bit.
UPDATE 12.06.2022.
Wow, this book absolutely blew my mind! A young, naive actress from America falls in love with a married doctor on her holiday in Southern France. It's difficult not to fall in love with both Divers actually - they're creme de la creme of the local society, a power couple whom everyone wants to see in their homes. But not everything is as it seems...

If you aren't familiar with Bookcrossing, take a few minutes to check out this very cool site. Bookcrossers LOVE books, and more than anything, they love to read books and then set them free for other people to find and enjoy. I would love it if you would leave a journal entry -- you can say where you found the book or how you liked it when you read it.

This looks like a must read - Fitzgerald's ultimative novel :)

I didn't get into the story, I didn't like the characters, I'm not interested in the mad Thirties. I tried several times to read it and was bored after a fes pages... I remember now, I already struggled through The Great Gatsby. I guess, Fitzgerald is just not my cup of tea.
But I gave it a new transparent sleeve, so the book cover is visible again :)

Dear finder
Thank you for looking up Bookcrossing and entering the number. Please, kindly write a short journal entry, that you own the book now. You can do this anonymously, but it's much more fun if you'll become a member and write under your nick name. It's still anonymous, but you'll get a notification every time somebody writes a new entry. You are able to follow the book's voyage and read the opinions of other readers. Bookcrossing is fun, it's free and free of spam. Try it, it might change your life. Or at least your bookshelf ;)
