2023: Sadly, HonoraryBCDog passed away in 2019, just a few weeks short of her 16th birthday. In January 2023 her little sister Plum attended her first BC meet-up and released 2 books on HonoraryBCDog's behalf. She will continue to honour her sister in this way occasionally and proudly wear HonoraryBCDog's unique BCUK bandana when doing so.

2016 Update: I recently acquired a new baby sister named Plum. She is too little to have her own BC page, so she is going to share releasing duties with me. Our Mum is going to try and get a good picture of us together to put on here but it's difficult because Plum is a nuisance and bites me and I don't like much like sitting with her. I bet she won't sit still to be photographed when she releases a book, either. Not like me! But I'll do my best to set a good example and train her in good BC Dog ways.

I have been helping my Mum with her BookCrossing activities for a while now and attended several BC meets under the pseudonym of HonoraryBCDog so Mum decided it was time I had a bookshelf of my own.

Of course, I am now an Official BC Dog, but I liked my HonoraryBCDog title so I decided to keep that as my screen name. My profile pic shows me wearing my BCUK bandanna, which was specially made for me. I always get excited when Mum puts it on me because I know that means I am going to a BC Meet.

In January 2006 Anglia TV filmed me and lots of my BCUK friends releasing books in Salcey Forest, Northamptonshire, so I am a proud star of the Small Screen now!

Mostly I will only be involved in wild releasing, but if you see one of my books you'd really really like I will ask Mum to send it to you and I'd be happy to receive suitable books from anyone who would like me to wild release them.
