Purchased from the Germantown Library used book sale in February 2024. I picked this up because I didn't think I had read any of Pearl Buck's books before. I enjoyed this story - it read like a fable.
This copy has "Douglas" written on the inside front cover. This is a Scholastic school market (book fair) edition.
