I left a book in a coffee shop in the Portland, Oregon area in January.
The next thing I heard was its capture more than three months later in a bagel shop in North Carolina.

I carry books in my car for just that purpose. When I capture a book, I immediately release one of mine in its location. One time someone found mine before I had time to get home and register the release!
