This is an old book, published in the '60s but it's got rich characaters and a story line with plenty of twists. Over 600 pages. Definately recommend it!

Fabulous story. A story that leaves you wondering what the story actually is. Lots of changes of direction achieved in a brilliant manner. And great, rich characters.

I've read all Jane Austen's books twice, with Pride & Prejudice having been read 8 or 9 times. And My Name is Asher Lev by Chaim Potok. But very few other books get read twice - too many books, too little time!
