Re: My goal for next year is...

I've been considering that also. There's some that are languishing on the TBR pile because I know it will take 2-3 weeks to get through them.
When I was a road warrior, there was a Barnes and Noble combined college and regular book store on Univ of Penn's campus, only 1/2 hour from the hotel and open until 11 every night. What heaven!
And my daughter & gir…
For uplifting: I liked the Mitford Series by Jan Karon. There's some new ones out that are offshoots of the story - I haven't read them.
There's a couple of romances that are humorous:

What is a year's supply of books?

I would take the 2/month - which would take care of my book club reads!
How many do I really read? Depends on the year and what else is going on in life. I go through about 4-7/week, mostly because of the length of the current commute.

I knew I shouldn't do this.....I can't put Jodi Picoult books down..........
But instead of reading the RABCK, I started the Ray - Keeping Faith by Jodi Picoult. It's a work day, but I started the book this morning & it keeps calling my name. Guess I'll be reading at lunch too :-)
