No need to join anything!
I use it in addition to the slim stamp and usual labeling.

I use the same thing, but as soon as I register a book, so all my books have it. Then my release notes are pertinent just to the actual release.

If possible, I also include a picture. Camera phones are a BookCrossers best friend...LOL
A local BC newbie released in our grocery store but didn't put release notes, so I had no clue where to find the book.

I want to release far more than I own.
Our local library has a Friends of the Library bookstore/bookshelf in every location in the county. It is manned by a bunch of book-lovin' retirees and all the money gets funnel…
