I use the same thing, but as soon as I register a book, so all my books have it. Then my release notes are pertinent just to the actual release.

If possible, I also include a picture. Camera phones are a BookCrossers best friend...LOL A local BC newbie released in our grocery store but didn't put release notes, so I had no clue where to find the book.

But I have also used the label idea, making sure to include the BCID# everywhere I stamp the book.

I want to release far more than I own. Our local library has a Friends of the Library bookstore/bookshelf in every location in the county. It is manned by a bunch of book-lovin' retirees and all the money gets funnel…

I am always afraid someone will just dump the book without even looking at it. I have had some excellent luck lately with local parks.
