Finished To the Hermitage by Bradbury last week, am drawn to Russian stuff just now.....especially Catherine the Great on to 1917....

We were in New Orleans and the audience was mostly moms with kids in tow....I think Motley Crue was the opener. I was awed by the lights/stage craft and left half deaf.
That was early 80's.

I was less that a month old, they played marches...
My parents met there ....at the city band concerts in the park.
Then concert did not mean rock/or whatever????
A concert implied band/orchestra/serious music.
