The Great Christmas Book Liberation, Chilean Style

December 21 marked a first in Chile and Latin America. Volunteers with a precious load of Chilean and foreign titles surprised the citizens of Santiago in what was entitled the "Great Christmas book release/liberation." The Literary Cafe of Providencia and Bookcrossing, Santiago, released books in areas bordering metro stations. Books are now also
traveling towards Renca and distant Easter Island, to include inhabitants there in the spirit of this great"Liberation." Viva BoookCrossing, Chilean style!
