Extended Profile
Right now I'm reading "Forest Lover" about Emily Carr, an interesting and talented painter from British Columbia . This book is written by Susan Vreeland who also wrote "Girl in Hyacinth Blue" another of my favorites.
I'm an avid reader and enjoy all kinds of books. Living, as we do, in the desert southwest, I find summers the greatest time to read. I love to travel and camp and hike. We have three children and enjoy visiting them when ever we can.. two small grandsons also call to our hearts .
Other interests that have been with me through the years are genealogy, dining out, going to plays and operas, visiting with friends, making jewlery and cooking. There just aren't enough hours in the day to do everything.
I just joined bookcrossing and hope to start freeing books this summer. What a marvelous thing!
