I have been a reader since the 4th grade when my teacher, Miss Romberger, read to us at the end of every day. Sometimes she'd put off our last lesson so she could read longer. The books she read included the first & last of C.S. Lewis's "Chronicles of Narnia" which have remained among my life-long favorites. I spent 11 years working in retail bookstores just to, "support my habit." I was never a great student in school, but I do have a bachelor's degree in Theater & a master's in textile design. I attribute all my academic sucess to being a reader. It saved me from working in retail for the rest of my life.
