Extended Profile
As a lifelong reader and having worked in a library as a library clerk for many years books are my favorite mode of relaxation. I was intrigued by the Bookcrossing project of freeing books as I usually do that with the paperbacks that I read while traveling.
While living in California we RV thru the state and it was always a great pleasure for me to find an unread book in some of the parks that we settled in for the night. Now that my traveling is mostly confined to flying, I always bring paperbacks with me and
after finished reading them I leave them somewhere where someone will pick them up.
As a child in Italy living in a small village with no library available receiving a book was a great gift.
So I am always mindful of people living in countries or villages where access to books is very limited.
