Extended Profile
I have rather eclectic tastes in reading -- all the way from true crime to historical romance. I love Georgette Heyer novels because of the sparkling dialogue. I like James Patterson novels because they have twisting plots with surprise endings. (I also
like his short chapters!) I like James Michener because of the history and research he imbues into each novel. I am fond of classical authors such as Charles Dickens and Mark Twain. I like authors that have a sense of humor and a bit of whimsy. I am constantly
finding new authors to know and love. I take a book with me wherever I go; that way I am never alone and never bored. If I'm stuck in traffic or waiting at the doctor's office, I just open my book and I'm in an exciting world where something wonderful is happening.
I just love books, don't you?
