Every name I tried to put in as my screen name was already taken, so because my uncle's name was unusual (Taliesin) I thought I'd try a variation of that, so taliesan was born.
I am an avid reader, but if I live to be 100 I will never read all the books in my possession. This site gives me a reason to let some of them go. I have enjoyed the books suggested by Richard and Judy in their bookclub. I like many authors: Maeve Binchy, William Horwood, Jean Auel, Helen Forrester, Rita Bradshaw, I could go on and on.
When I have finished a book it is usually passed among my friends, so reserved usually means the book is with someone other than myself. The majority will eventually return to me to become a wild release.
My husband has always enjoyed reading, but lost his sight about 10 years ago. He has learned Braille, so can enjoy a book again. Richard and Judy, husband and wife talk show hosts, introduced 'A Good Read' item into their show, and all the books suggested are available in Braille and I have added them to my husband's bookshelf with the National Library for the Blind. My husband has read three, up to now, and it has been nice to be able to discuss the books with him.
