Hello fellow word gobblers! Just a quick note to tell you a bit about myself:
I'm always too busy to be on the computer for any long length of time... any spare time I have is usually reading my latest interest. I'm one of those readers who should never start a good book at 9 pm as I'll be up until 3 am to finish it - eek - I hate it when that happens (though, not at the time). I never would have thought staying up late and indulging in too much book reading would produce a similiar feeling to staying up late and imbibing in too much alcohol (minus the barf factor of course)... or maybe I'm just getting older. I'm 33 yrs, have 3 children, 1 new puppy and a husband who, many times in the middle of the night, rolls over to see me reading and comments on how crazy I am. Guess he's right!
I love to read books of history, thrillers, fantasy, religions of the world, dramas, biographies. I don't collect books officially but do have a number of old books from the early 1900's, and my oldest is "Gleanings" (from the Holy Scriptures) a very small leather bound book inscribed by the giver as given on April 23, 1850. Oh no, have I said too much? Well, well, look at the time, eek - must fly...
