Extended Profile
I live in Bristol. I was an avid reader as a child, mainly of classical literature, but virtually stopped reading when I had my two girls. So I formed a reading group with a few like minded women, which met for a number of years. The group is now in its
second incarnation, swollen by a couple of men(!). We meet every six weeks and take it in turns to choose a book.
The reading group has forced me to read books I might otherwise not even have considered, but literary fiction remains my favourite genre. My favourite authors are Anne Michaels, Kate Atkinson, Kazuo Ishiguro, Helen Dunmore and Tracy Chevalier.
