Extended Profile
I'm a native New Yorker (more appropriately, I'm a Long Islander), currently living in Maryland.
My hobbies along with reading include: beadweaving, dancing, figure sculpting, cooking, knitting, writing, collecting and using fountain pens, listening to music, traveling, and a growing list of outdoor activities (bicycling, windsurfing, walking, hiking, fishing, camping, etc...).
I've always been a voracious reader and combine that with listening to stories on my iPhone. I especially like books on art, travel, humor, cooking, horror, thrillers, fantasy, and cozy style mysteries though I'm open to all sorts of good books.
I found Bookcrossing.com through their ad in Mental Floss magazine. From the minute I read through the site I was hooked. Except for a few genres and seriously fantastic books, I can't read a book twice so I want to let others who enjoy reading as much as I do enjoy my books. I hope to discover new books and make wonderful friends from around the world.
Book Request Policy:
* Books marked Available are open to trade offers (books, something you've made, a local food item such as maple syrup, candy, etc...), and postage. "Gimme" is not an acceptable offer. Yes, I do RABCKs but at my discretion.
