Save the Children -WA has been helping disadvantaged children locally, nationally and internationally for over 50 years.
Volunteers are the backbone of our work in Western Australia. Volunteers staff our 9 Perth metropolitan shops and run our branches.
All our shops sell books with our refurbished Tuart Hill shop having a large dedicated book area. Donated books are sorted, priced and cared for by a dedicated team of book volunteers. Our north of the river and south of the branches are renowned for their annual book sales in August and September. Since the 1960s, book sales have contributed nearly $3million towards Save the Children's work.
Now, with this well established relationship to books, and a shop space dedicated to books, we are delighted to be part of the world's biggest book club.
