Extended Profile
I'm an Animal Health Technologist working for a federal agency here in Canada. I enjoy books by english authors or anything interesting!
Referred here by my high school friend. What a treasure!
I recently moved to Red Deer for my new job and not knowing anyone here is certainly making lots of time for reading!! Working my way through two environmental books in order to have heated debates with a friend. They are very different from one another and I am enjoying them both. Also, have started riding my bike to work more since reading them and getting fired up about driving an SUV (Sorry Gaia! and mother earth).
On a recent trip back to the parental home have picked up a bunch of books from the childhood years. Have a mass of Stephen King books which I have never read (were a christmas gift but are far too scarey for me!) - may try to release some but maybe I'll just trade them in at the Wee Book Inn. Have also brought back quite a few Piers Anthony books. Oh the memories!
I am having a fun time on BookCrossing - have had a few trade requests which are always welcome.
Most addicted to: Coca Cola
Am currently (Dec 2005) DEVOURING Angels and Demons. Am loving this book! My Sis bought it for me for Easter and I have finally got around to having a go at it. I bought her Davinci code last christmas and this led her to A&D. Cant wait to borrow Davinci code back off her as apparently it is a bloody good read also! Deffinately enjoyed the DaVinci Code. Now, to see the movie!!
(June 2008) I am trying to get a hold of a copy of "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins. Any exchanges considered!!
