Finding the BC site was a happy accident. One of my projects during my recuperation from back surgery was to try and trim my ever-growing piles of books by listing some of them for resale on-line. I'm glad I found BC before I did. This is much better. The whole concept is a natural for me; I released books in the wild long before I ever heard of BookCrossing. I'd pass them on to the person next to me on a plane, or leave them in waiting areas in hospitals.

I'm from Arkansas, and it doesn't look like there is a lot of participation here yet. I'll definitely be doing my part to change that.
