Extended Profile
I am a grandmother with too many books. I am ready to let some go and I found this site so I am trying it out.
I have been a reader for a long time. I started with cowboy adventure books in third grade. I have read shelves of books.
I have shelves of books that I have all ready read.... it is so lovely to set them free.
I like the laundry mats for setting the books free primarily because it would seem horrible to me to NOT have something to read while doing the mundane laundry.
I am now keeping a box of books in my car to release if I come upon a likely place in the ramblings of my life. I am looking forward to someone somewhere sending a note about a book that I have sent into the Great Library of the World. The idea tickles me. I have noticed as I go through my own library shelves that my taste in books has changed many times. My love of reading has not.
My best friend is an ex-librarian so I find the freedom of books everywhere in the world rather funny in a mildly outrageous way.
