bookcrossing brought me back to reading real books. books on this shelf are items that chose to come live with me for a while, no matter what i thought of them. now it's time to let them see the world. i hope they find hosts that value them for what they are. the books i hang on to (travel, africa, biographies, journalism, certain writers) are seldom on this shelf.
journal entries by me are in the book's language, or at least an attempt to do so.
i would love to hear of any books from or about sub-saharan africa: there's a world of books i haven't even heard of.
