I'm a freelance science and technical writer, in the process of starting a small publishing company with my spouse, who is a freelance outdoor writer.
Our publishing company, Bonasa Press, publishes high-quality sporting literature on outdoor sports that include upland bird hunting and fly fishing. Some day we'd like to be able to make a living at it!
I've worked for libraries, antiquarian bookstores, and publishing companies--and am strongly committed to promoting reading any way I can.
We share our lives with two kids (teenagers) and two dogs (English setters.)
